I am excited today, i have my friends coming round for a Christmas get together, we will be doing a secret santa too. I spent the day getting things sorted out, I haven't done this for a long time.
I got myself a Christmas outfit to wear, pulled out the Christmas head gear for us all to wear and tidied the house in readiness for the evening. All was going well till Kieran decided to kick up. It took me a while to sort that out but it did put me behind. I wasn't ready when my first friend arrived.
I chatted to my friend and stayed with her till my next friend arrived, I then went up to get ready.
I had lovely cakes again from Amanda and Mark at " Amanda's icing on the cake". They did a yule log that has 'twice married club' written on it and 12 cup cakes.
When all the girls arrived I introduced them to each other as some of them had not met before. It was so wonderful to have some of my very special friends all in one room.
We ordered a take-away as I am such a rubbish cook, swapped our secret santa gifts and chatted away before the last person left at around 1pm.
All in all it was a fabulous night, thanks so much to Chrissy, Wendy, Avis, Jayne and Maryanne for coming along and making my evening a success.
