Dr's again!

I went to see my GP yesterday, got another sick note, hoping to be back to work soon though. I spoke to her about the recent diagnosis of chronic kidney failure that was first picked up in March 2010. She explained it all very well. She suggested I have a blood test every 6 months to keep an eye on it. I am a little sore from the op last week but haven't taken any pain killers. I don't take them unless I need them. The 24 hour pain killing jabs I had when I had the op seemed to take away the worst of it.

Later in the afternoon the kitties went to the vets. It was so difficult getting them into their cat boxes. It is their yearly flu jab. Amber cried all the way there. Stork usually cries when he is on his own but yesterday he left it all to Amber. All is well with them, £70 less and 2 kitties eager to get back into their cat boxes later, we headed back to the car. Siobhan came with me and was a great help.

Chrissy, my friend, and I are all sorted out for the nurses conference in Glasgow the end of the month. We are looking forward to seeing a bit of Glasgow too.

I am off to the Dr's again this morning for a blood test. In the afternoon I am off to Tavistock with my wonderful and brave friend, Mandy. I am looking forward to it and hope it doesn't rain!
